Offer your customers flexible options for receiving their purchases through local pickup or local delivery services. These options appear alongside standard shipping methods during checkout for all physical products.

Local Pickup Setup

Create free local pickup options (click and collect):

  1. Navigate to Pickup panel
  2. Click "Add pickup option"
  3. Enter option name and customer instructions
  4. Add pickup location details for tax purposes
  5. Click Save

Important pickup notes:

  • Not available with Afterpay/Clearpay
  • Cannot be used for subscription products
  • Pickup details automatically included in confirmation emails
  • Orders not sent to shipping platforms (Shipstation/Shippo)

Local Delivery Setup

Create paid or free local delivery services:

  1. Open Delivery panel
  2. Click "Add delivery option"
  3. Select service area (country and zip codes)
  4. Name the delivery option
  5. Set delivery fee
  6. Add delivery instructions and schedule
  7. Click Save

Managing Orders

When orders are ready:

  1. Go to "Products and Services" > Orders
  2. Select order
  3. Click "Mark as ready for pickup/delivery"
  4. Choose whether to notify customer
  5. Click Confirm

To revert status:

  • Open order and click "Mark as pending"

Additional Features

Custom checkout forms can request:

  • Bag preferences for pickup
  • Delivery availability
  • Contact preferences
  • Phone numbers

Editing Options

To modify or remove pickup/delivery options:

  1. Open Pickup/Delivery panel
  2. Click "..." next to option
  3. Select Edit or Delete
  4. Confirm changes

Remember to:

  • Set clear pickup deadlines
  • Include policies for abandoned orders
  • Maintain accurate contact information
  • Regularly review and update options

This system helps streamline order fulfillment while providing convenient options for local customers.
