Apple Pay enables secure, swift payments for your customers without manual data entry. Studies show a 2.6% higher order completion rate for stores accepting Apple Pay compared to card-only payments.

Apple Pay works automatically with Squarespace Payments or Stripe integration, with no extra transaction fees. It's available for physical products only, with orders above €0.00, and requires Safari browser on supported devices.

To verify Apple Pay status:

1. Open In-Store Payments panel
2. Select Squarespace Payments or Stripe
3. Ensure "Accept Apple Pay" is enabled

Customer Experience:

• Available on Safari (iOS 10, macOS Sierra, or newer)
• One-click payment with saved billing information
• Shows taxes and shipping fees automatically
• Requires saved shipping address
• Defaults to cheapest shipping option

Important Limitations:

• In-store pickup automatically selected if no other shipping options available
• Cannot use selective free shipping discounts
• Digital products, subscriptions, and bundles not supported

• iPhone SE, 6, 6 Plus and newer
• iPad Pro, Air 2, mini 3 and newer
• Apple Watch with supported iPhone
• Mac with Touch ID

Testing:

• Use Safari on compatible device
• Real payment card required
• Can refund test purchases
• Transaction fees may apply

Transaction monitoring is available through payment processor, with Apple Pay purchases shown alongside regular credit card transactions in Payments and Donations panels.
