Can't Access Your Custom Email Account

If you can't access your email, check these common causes:

  • Suspended account due to missed payments
  • Incorrect MX records setup
  • Expired domain subscription
  • Google Workspace subscription issues

For Squarespace Domains:

  1. Verify MX records are properly set up
  2. Confirm domain subscription is active
  3. Check Google Workspace subscription status

For Third-Party Domains:

  1. Confirm domain registration is active with your provider
  2. Add Google MX records to DNS settings
  3. Remove any non-Google MX records

Domain Recently Moved to Squarespace?

If your domain was migrated from Google Domains:

  • Update billing information in Google Workspace panel
  • Allow up to 72 hours for email forwarding changes
  • Confirm Squarespace as your new billing provider

Common Error Messages and Solutions:

"Username Already Exists":

  • Choose a different username
  • Wait 20 days if username was recently deleted
  • Check if username is an alias or group name

  2. Add CNAME record to domain
  3. Wait 24-72 hours for processing
  4. Try registering again
