GST applies to all Squarespace services for residents of Australia (10%), India (18%), New Zealand (15%), and Singapore (9%). This includes website subscriptions, domains, Email Campaigns, Google Workspace, Getty Images, Digital Products, and Acuity Scheduling.

Listed prices exclude GST. You'll see the total charge including tax before checkout and on invoices.

GST Exemption Eligibility

Businesses registered for GST in Australia, India, New Zealand, or Singapore can apply for exemption from GST collection.

Note: Former Google Domains users must request a new exemption from Squarespace, as previous exemptions don't transfer.

Verifying GST Information Format

Australian Business Number (ABN):

  • Use the Australian Business Register's validation tool to verify format
  • Must be valid and active

Singapore GST Number:

  • Verify using the Inland Revenue Authority's GST Registered Business Search
  • Must be correctly formatted and active

Adding GST Exemption

For Existing Subscriptions:

  1. Open Payment information panel
  2. Enter billing details and address
  3. Select your country
  4. Check GST registration confirmation
  5. Enter business name and registration number
  6. Save changes

For New Purchases:

  • Complete GST fields during checkout

For Acuity Scheduling:

  1. Go to My Account
  2. Click Update credit card
  3. Enter GST number
  4. Update billing

Important: Apply exemption separately for each Squarespace business site in eligible countries.

Without GST certification, all payments to Squarespace will include the applicable GST charge for your country of residence.
