Managing DNS Settings for Squarespace Domains
Access your domain's DNS settings by navigating to your domains control panel, selecting your domain name, and clicking DNS in the side panel.
Common DNS Presets Available:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365
- Fastmail
- Proton Mail
- Titan
- Neo
- iCloud
- Zoho Mail
- Google Workspace verification
- Squarespace Defaults
Add Squarespace Defaults:
- Open domains control panel
- Click your domain
- Select DNS
- Click Add Preset
- Choose Squarespace Defaults
Remove Squarespace Defaults:
- Open domains control panel
- Select your domain
- Click DNS
- Find DNS Settings
- Click the trash can next to Squarespace Defaults
- Confirm deletion
Troubleshooting DNS Conflicts:
- Error message "DNS record Conflict" indicates duplicate or interfering records
- Check for similar record types
- Look for conflicting data
- Refresh page and try again

- DNS records direct visitors to your domain and handle email routing
