
How to Buy and Print Shipping Labels on Squarespace
Create and print USPS or UPS shipping labels directly through your store for orders within the United States. This service requires a U.S. billing address, USD currency, and a Business or Commerce plan.

First-Time Label Setup
For UPS:
- Open Orders panel and select a pending order
- Click "Purchase label" and "Get UPS rates"
- Create new account or connect existing one through fulfillment extension
For USPS:
- Open Orders panel and select pending order
- Click "Purchase label"
- Add return address
- Save to begin
Creating Shipping Labels

Choose packaging type:
- Custom packaging: Enter dimensions and weight
- Carrier packaging: Select size and weight

Select shipping service

Choose label format (8.5 x 11" or 4 x 6")

Review and confirm payment

Print label
Important Notes
- Labels cannot be edited after purchase
- Cancel and create new label if changes needed
- Refunds process in 15-31 days for canceled labels
- One label per order
- USPS labels expire after 30 days
- Cannot add shipping insurance
- Cannot schedule pickups through platform
Refunds and Cancellations
- USPS: Refundable within 90 days
- UPS: Automatic refund for unused labels after 15-31 days
- Cannot expedite refund process
Label Management
- View receipts in Billing panel
- Cancel labels through order details
- Edit saved packages in Products & Services panel
- Update return address through order creation process
Remember to mark orders as fulfilled after printing labels. Tracking numbers automatically add to order fulfilled emails.
