Step 1 - Start Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to the Domains panel
2. Click "Use a domain you own"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Connect Domain"
5. Select IONOS from dropdown
6. Click "Connect Domain" again
7. Click "Continue" in the popup message

Step 2 - Approve Connection in IONOS

1. Log in to your IONOS account in the popup window
2. Click "Connect" to confirm
3. Wait for success message in Squarespace
4. Click "Continue"

Step 3 - Wait for Connection

The connection typically takes 24-72 hours to complete. During this time:

• Monitor progress in DNS Settings under "Update Records"
• Look for green tags in the Current Data column
• When complete, domain shows "Connected" label in Domains panel
