To connect a Network Solutions domain to Squarespace, you can use either Nameserver Connect (recommended) or DNS Connect. Here's how to set it up:

Nameserver Connect Method (Recommended):

1. In Squarespace:

• Open the Domains panel
• Click "Use a domain I own"
• Enter your domain name and click the arrow
• Click "Connect domain"
• Select "Get Started"

2. In Network Solutions:

• Log into your account
• Open your domain dashboard
• Go to Advanced Tools > Nameservers
• Click Manage
• Delete the existing nameservers
• Add these Squarespace nameservers:
  • connect1.squarespacedns.com
  • connect2.squarespacedns.com
• Click Save

3. Return to Squarespace:

• Click Finish
• Click Done

DNS Connect Method:

1. In Squarespace:

• Open the Domains panel
• Click "Use a domain I own"
• Enter your domain name
• Select "No, use DNS records"
• Choose Network Solutions from the dropdown
• Log in to your Network Solutions account
• Click Connect
• Click Continue

Connection Time:

• Allow 24-72 hours for the connection to complete
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
• Green labels will appear as the connection establishes

Troubleshooting:

• Use the DNS checker tool if you see "Can't verify domain ownership"
• Reset nameservers to Network Solutions defaults if errors occur
• Contact Network Solutions support for account-specific issues

Note: Connection errors are normal for up to 72 hours after setup. If issues persist beyond this timeframe, consult Squarespace's troubleshooting documentation.
