Restock waitlists let customers receive email notifications when out-of-stock products become available again. This feature works for physical products and services on Product Information pages.

How Waitlists Work:

• Customers enter their email address on out-of-stock product pages
• Notifications are sent automatically when items are restocked
• Available in version 7.1 for all sites, and 7.0 for advanced store pages only

To Activate Waitlists:

1. Navigate to the Waitlists panel
2. Enable "Allow waitlist sign-ups"
3. Optionally enable mailing list sign-ups
4. Customize sign-up button text if desired

Managing Waitlists:

• View sign-ups and email addresses in the Waitlists panel
• Track out-of-stock and in-stock products separately
• Send restock notifications using "Send email to all"
• Waitlists are automatically removed after sending notifications

Important Notes:

• Sign-up option only appears when variants are out of stock
• Cannot limit waitlists to specific products
• Out of Stock labels won't show in variant dropdowns
• Google reCAPTCHA is automatically enabled to prevent spam
• Cannot export waitlist data

To Disable Waitlists:

1. Open Waitlists panel
2. Disable "Allow waitlist sign-ups"
3. Existing lists will be preserved if re-enabled later
4. Individual subscribers cannot be removed

Note: The waitlist feature includes customizable email templates for restock notifications, allowing you to modify subject lines, titles, and body content.
