Product waitlists allow customers to receive notifications when out-of-stock items become available again. This feature appears on product detail pages for physical and service products.

Availability:

• Version 7.1: All sites
• Version 7.0: Advanced store pages only

Enabling Product Waitlists:

1. Open Waitlists panel
2. Toggle "Allow waitlist sign-up" on
3. Optionally enable mailing list sign-up
4. Customize sign-up text if desired

Important Notes:

• Only appears when out-of-stock variants are selected
• Not available with button-style variants
• Applies to all out-of-stock products
• Out-of-stock tags won't show in variant dropdowns

Managing Waitlists:

• View sign-ups in the Waitlists panel
• Monitor Out of Stock and Back in Stock tabs
• Email notifications automatically sent when items are restocked
• Previous waitlist data isn't stored after emails are sent

Customizing Waitlist Messages:

1. Access Waitlists panel settings
2. Edit email subject, title, and body
3. Modify product details as needed
4. Save changes

Security Features:

• Google reCAPTCHA automatically enabled
• Prevents bot submissions
• Invisible to legitimate users

Disabling Waitlists:

1. Open Waitlists panel
2. Toggle "Allow waitlist sign-up" off
3. Existing waitlists are preserved and will reappear if re-enabled
4. Individual subscribers cannot be removed

Note: Waitlist data cannot be exported, and sent messages cannot be reviewed later. The feature automatically manages all notifications when products return to stock.
