How to Manage Member Accounts: Login, Access, and Cancellation Guide

Members can access and manage their subscriptions through their customer accounts, which allow them to view paywalled content, review orders, and update personal information.

Account Creation and Login

  • Members create accounts during subscription registration by providing their name, email, and password
  • Login is available through the primary navigation or any paywall
  • Upon logging in, the customer account menu appears on the right side of the screen

Account Features

  • Digital Articles section shows all accessible gated content
  • Profile section displays account details
  • Members can view subscription details including:
    • Membership start date
    • Renewal dates for recurring subscriptions
    • Payment frequency
    • Pricing information
    • Payment method management

Managing Memberships

  • Members can update their email address through their account settings
  • To cancel a membership:
    1. Log into the account
    2. Navigate to Account > Digital Articles/Subscriptions
    3. Select the digital article to cancel
    4. Click "Manage Subscription" (if applicable)
    5. Confirm cancellation

Important Notes About Cancellation

  • No refunds are issued for payments already made
  • Access remains until the end of the billing period
  • Future recurring payments are automatically canceled
  • Fixed-amount and free subscriptions cannot be canceled
  • Members retain indefinite access to content paid in full

Logging Out

  • Click Account > Log Out
  • Automatic logout may occur after period of inactivity
  • Members are redirected to the homepage after logging out

Members with restricted access can navigate members-only website sections based on customized navigation settings. The customer account menu can be closed by clicking anywhere outside it on the website.
