Customers can purchase and use gift cards as a form of payment in your online store through a simple process. Here's how it works:

Purchasing a Gift Card

1. Customers select a gift card amount (if multiple options are available) and click "Buy"
2. At checkout, they choose a delivery method:
   • Email to recipient: Requires recipient's name, email, message, and sender's name
   • Email to self: Requires recipient's name, message, and sender's name

3. Complete checkout by entering billing information and confirming purchase

Redeeming Gift Cards

Customers can use gift cards for:

• Physical products
• Digital products
• Service products
• Fixed-amount plans

Important notes:

• Gift cards cover the total order amount, including taxes and shipping
• Multiple gift cards can be combined for a single purchase
• Remaining balances are saved for future use
• Cannot be used for subscription services

In-Person Redemption

Merchants can process gift cards in person using the Squarespace app:

1. Tap Commerce > + icon
2. Select "Apply gift card code"
3. Enter code and redemption amount
4. Tap Redeem

These transactions appear in sales analytics under the Point of Sale channel.
