Follow Bing Webmaster Tools verification steps to ensure your site appears in Bing search results.

Before Starting:

• Remove any site-wide or homepage passwords
• Ensure third-party domains are properly connected (wait 72 hours after connection)
• Verification won't work on trial sites - publish first
• Set the domain you're verifying as Primary if you have multiple domains

Step 1: Add Domain to Bing Webmaster Tools

1. Log into Bing Webmaster Tools
2. Enter your domain in "Add a site" field
3. Click Add

Step 2: Add Site Information

1. Complete the "About your site" form
2. Provide email address (required)
3. Set Bing contact preferences
4. Click Save

Step 3: Verify Your Site

Option 1: Meta Tag Method (Website Business, Commerce plans)

1. Copy the provided HTML meta tag
2. Log into your site
3. Open Code Injection panel
4. Paste HTML tag in Header field

5. Click Save
6. Return to Bing Webmaster Tools
7. Click Verify

Option 2: CNAME Method (Personal plan)

1. Copy the full CNAME record
2. Open domains dashboard
3. Click domain name
4. Click DNS, then Add record
5. Select CNAME from Type dropdown
6. Paste CNAME record in Host column
7. Enter verify.bing.com in Data column
8. Click Save
9. Return to Bing Webmaster Tools
10. Click Verify

Once verified, you'll access the Bing Webmaster Tools dashboard to manage your site's presence in Bing search results.
