
How to Restore Deleted Pages and Blog Posts in 30 Days or Less
Restoring deleted content on your website is possible within specific timeframes and limitations. Here's what you need to know:
Restorable Content (Within 30 Days)
Pages:
- Open Pages panel
- Click Trash at the bottom
- Hover over page title and click Restore
- Confirm restoration
- Find restored page in "Not linked" section
Blog Posts (Version 7.1):
- Open Pages panel
- Click blog page
- Click Recycle Bin
- Click "..." on post and select Restore
- Confirm restoration Note: Multiple posts can be restored simultaneously using checkboxes
Blog Posts (Version 7.0):
- Open Pages panel
- Click blog page
- Click trash can icon
- Click Restore on post
- Confirm restoration
Republishing Restored Blog Posts:
- Posts return as drafts
- Edit post contents as needed
- Click Publish (7.1) or Save & Publish (7.0)
Unrestorable Content
The following items cannot be recovered once deleted:
- Text after closing editor
- Blocks after closing editor
- Collection items (except blog posts)
- Page sections after closing editor
- Pages and posts deleted over 30 days ago
- Member sites (only pages within can be restored)
- Code from code blocks, injection panel, or custom CSS panel
Best Practices:
- Always confirm before deleting important content
- Keep local backups of custom code
- Use undo/redo while editor is still open
- Act within the 30-day window for recoverable content
- Save important collection items separately
Note: Restored pages containing code blocks will retain their original code content.
