  • Available in select regions (check availability guide)
  • Requires Personal plan or higher
  • Must have owner/admin site permissions

Supported Transaction Types:

  • Course pages
  • Donations
  • Billing
  • Membership sites
  • One-time purchases
  • Subscriptions

Important Considerations Before Switching:

  • Payment methods for subscriptions will migrate but won't transfer back to Stripe if you switch again
  • Sales history remains accessible
  • Stripe account disconnects from Squarespace
  • Customer checkout experience stays the same
  • Bank account connection required for payments

How to Switch:

  1. Open Finances panel
  2. Click "Start using Squarespace Payments"
  3. Review and accept terms
  4. Start import process
  5. Connect bank account for payments

Note: Account activation is immediate, but Stripe data import may take up to 10 days. Subscription payments continue through Stripe until import completion.

Account Management:

  • Transaction fees and processing fees information available
  • Business information and payment details can be edited
  • Dispute management tools provided
  • 1099-k form support included

Current customers will experience no disruption in service during the transition. A confirmation email will be sent once the import process is complete.
