In the language and region settings, you can customize how your site appears to visitors by configuring language preferences, measurement systems, and time zones.

Language Settings

  • Choose from available languages for site text:
    • English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish
    • Version 7.1 adds: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Japanese, Norwegian, Swedish
  • Language selection affects date, time, and currency formatting
  • For multilingual sites, Weglot integration enables content translation and language selector (v7.1)

Regional Settings

  • Measurement System options:
    • Imperial
    • Metric
  • Country selection:
    • Affects address and phone field formats
    • US selection requires state specification
  • Time Zone:
    • Default based on IP address location
    • Can be set by clicking map location or selecting nearest city
    • Available in dropdown menu

These settings help ensure your site displays information in formats familiar to your target audience, improving user experience and accessibility.

Note: Settings location varies by version:

  • Version 7.1: Find in Site Language and Regional Settings panels
  • Version 7.0: Located in Language and Region panel
