Handling customer orders requires careful attention to ensure efficient processing and tracking. Here's a comprehensive guide:

Notifications Setup

Enable order notifications to stay informed:

  • Admin/store managers receive emails from [email protected]
  • Emails include billing details, shipping info, and item specifics
  • Enable mobile push notifications through the Squarespace app settings
  • Set processing reminders for pending orders

Viewing Orders

Access order details through:

  1. Products and Services panel > Orders section
  2. Filter by status (Pending/Processed/Canceled)
  3. Search using order number, email, or customer name

Order details include:

  • Billing and shipping information
  • Order number and total
  • Item details and quantities
  • Tax and shipping costs
  • Custom form responses

Processing Orders

To fulfill a pending order:

  1. Open Orders panel
  2. Select pending order
  3. Click "Mark as Processed"
  4. Add tracking number (optional)
  5. Choose carrier from dropdown
  6. Send processing notification to customer (optional)

Scanning Shipping Labels (Mobile App)

  1. Open order in app
