Efficiently collect and display customer reviews for downloads, physical products, and services to boost buyer confidence and sales. Reviews are available for all purchases except those made with gift cards.

Process Overview:

• Customers receive an automated email 14 days after order shipment
• Reviews can be up to 1,500 characters with 1-5 star ratings
• Multiple products can be reviewed from a single email
• Review window expires after 120 days
• Point of sale purchases don't trigger review requests

Customization Options:

1. Email Customization

• Access the automation dashboard
• Edit email content, subject line, and preview text
• Send test emails to verify appearance
• Cannot modify timing or send multiple requests

2. Review Settings

• Enable email notifications for new reviews
• Choose between product reviews, store reviews, or both
• Control visibility of requested and imported reviews
• Manage review display on product pages

Review Management:

• Monitor reviews through the Customer Reviews panel
• Toggle visibility between Public and Hidden
• Cannot delete reviews but can hide them
• Reviews remain after product edits or name changes
• Product deletion doesn't affect review averages

Important Limitations:

• Reviews cannot be exported or transferred to other sites
• Customers cannot edit or delete their reviews
• Only one review per product per customer
• Reviews expire after 120 days
• Cannot respond directly to reviews
• Cannot request reviews for orders older than 14 days
• Subscription renewals don't trigger review requests
• Canceled orders cannot be reviewed

Review requests automatically pause when:

• You edit the email template
• You manually pause the automation
• A customer purchases with a gift card
• The purchase is made through point of sale

Plan Changes:

• Downgrading to Business/Personal plans stops new review requests
• Existing reviews remain visible on product pages
• Contact deletion removes all associated reviews
