Squarespace Circle is a free partner program for creative professionals that offers three membership tiers based on your activity and contributions: Silver, Gold, and Platinum Partner status.

Point System & Status Levels

Your membership status is determined by a point-based system that tracks your subscription activity and community participation. Check your current status and points on your Circle dashboard or in weekly Release Notes emails.

Status Requirements:

• Silver Partner: 0-999 points (entry level)
• Gold Partner: 1,000-1,999 points
• Platinum Partner: 2,000+ points

Earning Points

Points are awarded for:

• Creating new customer subscriptions
• Being added as an administrator to client websites
• Active participation in the Circle community

Status Changes & Annual Reset

Your status updates automatically when you meet point requirements for a higher tier. Important considerations:

• Points reset annually on January 1st
• Current status benefits continue through the reset calendar year
• Must maintain required points to keep status in following year
• Need to remain at current status for one full period before advancing

Example Scenarios

Scenario 1: Gold Partner (1000 points) joining in March 2025

• Points reset to 0 on January 1, 2026
• Maintains Gold status through 2026
• If below 1000 points by December 31, 2026, reverts to Silver in 2027

Scenario 2: Silver Partner (0 points) joining in March 2025

• Earns 1000 points by December 2025
• Upgrades to Gold status
• Maintains Gold benefits through 2026
• Must earn 1000+ points in 2026 to keep Gold status in 2027

Monitor your Circle dashboard regularly to track points and maintain or advance your status level. Higher status levels unlock additional benefits and perks within the Squarespace ecosystem.
