3. Initiate transfer in Squarespace

• Open Domains panel
• Click "I already have a domain"

5. Post-transfer steps

• Wait for Name.com to approve transfer (5-7 days)

• Keep existing MX records for custom email addresses
• Transfer can take up to 15 days
• You'll receive confirmation email once complete

• Set as primary domain if desired
• Enable SSL
• Add custom email (Google Workspace)
• Update DNS settings as needed

For failed transfers:

• Check registration information accuracy
