Creating a Google Workspace Account for Custom Domain Email

Before starting, ensure you:

• Have Administrator permissions for your site
• Use a domain without special characters
• Have an enabled homepage without password protection
• Can only register one Google Workspace account per site

Step 1: Prepare Your Domain

For Squarespace Domains:

• Verify domain ownership
• Confirm active domain subscription

For External Domains:

• Set up correct DNS records
• Allow up to 72 hours for DNS propagation

Step 2: Sign Up and Purchase

1. Open Google Workspace panel
2. Select billing plan (monthly/annual)
3. Complete registration form:
   • Email address
   • Personal details
   • Username (letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores, apostrophes, periods allowed)
