Deprecated fonts can no longer be used on new sites or new locations within existing sites. Here's what you need to know about handling deprecated fonts and finding alternatives.

When Duplicating Sites

If you receive an error message about font unavailability while duplicating a site, you must replace all deprecated fonts before proceeding. Follow these steps:

For Version 7.1:

  • Open Site Styles
  • Click [>] next to [Fonts]
  • Check font settings under Headings, Paragraphs, Buttons, and Others
  • Replace any deprecated fonts with new options
  • Check Assign Styles for custom font usage

For Version 7.0:

  • Open Site Styles
  • Locate style tweak options using deprecated fonts
  • Select new fonts for all affected settings
  • Check different pages if certain options aren't visible

Custom CSS Considerations

Remove any deprecated fonts from custom CSS before duplicating sites, as these will prevent successful duplication.

Font Replacement Options

When replacing deprecated fonts, you can either:

  • Replace individual font selections while keeping other customizations
  • Choose a new font pack (note: this removes all previous font customizations)

Currently Deprecated Fonts

The following fonts can no longer be added to sites: [List includes Abadi, Calibri, Century Gothic, Copperplate, and over 200 other font families]

Tips for Font Migration:

  • Compare your current fonts against the deprecated list
  • Select similar alternatives from available fonts
  • Test new fonts across different screen sizes
  • Ensure consistency across all site elements

Remember to check all site pages and custom elements for deprecated font usage before attempting site duplication.
