When a font becomes unavailable due to third-party service changes, it must be retired from our system. Retired fonts can't be used in new locations or sites, but alternative fonts are always available.

How to Handle Retired Fonts

To duplicate a site with retired fonts:

  1. Replace all retired fonts before duplication
  2. Check current fonts against the retired fonts list
  3. Follow replacement steps based on your version

For Version 7.1:

  • Open site styles
  • Click > next to Fonts
  • Locate retired fonts in Titles, Paragraphs, Buttons, or Miscellaneous
  • Select new fonts for each retired font setting

For Version 7.0:

  • Open site styles
  • Find style adjustments using retired fonts
  • Select replacement fonts
  • Check different pages if adjustments aren't visible

Custom CSS Considerations Remove any retired fonts from custom CSS before site duplication to avoid errors.
