Customize Member Website Experience: Navigation, Checkout & Email Settings
Member websites allow you to create exclusive content for different communities. Here's how to customize their experience:
Member Homepage Customization
The member homepage serves as the landing page for your member website and appears in:
- Confirmation emails
- Welcome emails
- Member account menu
To set a different page as homepage:
- Open "Pages" menu
- Find your member website
- Click "..." on the desired page
- Select "Set as Member Homepage"
- Confirm your choice
Navigation Options
Choose from these navigation styles:
- Replace primary navigation (default) - Shows member navigation when logged in
- Show in account menu - Displays pages under the Account menu
- Hide navigation - Allows custom navigation on homepage
Checkout Customization
Create custom payment forms to:
- Collect member information
- Get feedback
- Display terms of service
Note: Free member websites don't show payment forms.
Email Notifications
Customize these automated emails:
- Welcome email
- Cancellation email
- Account-related emails
- Opt-in confirmation (for free memberships)
Paywall Settings
Member website content is protected behind a paywall. Visitors see the paywall when:
- Not logged into their account
- Not subscribed to the membership
Design Options
Customize your member pages using:
- Style adjustments
- Design menu options
- Custom navigation layouts
For deleted homepages, the first listed page becomes the new homepage automatically. If no pages exist, members will see a 404 error.
All member websites share the same navigation style - individual styling isn't possible.
