Mass email campaigns allow you to broadcast messages to your mailing lists immediately or schedule them for later. Here's how to send them effectively:

Prerequisites:

  • Active mailing list
  • Configured sender profile
  • Draft email ready to send
  • Verified custom email domain (recommended)
  • Physical mailing address added
  • Monthly sending limits not exceeded

Setting Up Your Campaign:

  1. Add Essential Information:
  • Subject line and preview text
  • Select recipient lists
  • Choose sender profile
  • Include legal physical address

  1. Send Test Emails:
  • Send to personal email address
  • Check all links and buttons
  • Review content for errors
  • Verify image display
  • Test on multiple devices
  • Confirm unsubscribe link visibility
  1. Launch Options:

Immediate Sending:

  • Click Schedule in sidebar
  • Enable "Start immediately"
  • Click "Send to recipients"

Scheduled Sending:

  • Click Schedule in sidebar
  • Disable "Send immediately"
  • Select date and time
  • Click "Schedule a campaign"

Important Notes:

  • Timezone follows your device settings
  • New subscribers may need to confirm subscription
  • Cannot resend to specific subscribers
  • "Under review" status means security check in progress
  • Custom domain verification removes "via squarespace-mail.com" notation

Tracking Results:

  • Monitor opens and clicks
  • View detailed analytics in dashboard
  • Compare with previous campaigns

Remember: Once sent, campaigns cannot be canceled. Always send test emails first to ensure everything works as intended.
