Digital Products plans allow you to sell digital content like courses and memberships while managing transaction fees and video storage. These plans work alongside your existing website subscription.
Plan Requirements:
- Active Squarespace website required
- Compatible with Personal, Business, Basic Commerce, and Advanced Commerce website plans
- Site owners or admin collaborators can purchase plans
- Free trial available but purchases disabled until website upgrade

Video Storage:
- Base storage: 30 minutes for all plans
- Additional storage varies by plan tier
- Upgrade or delete videos when reaching limit
Transaction Fees and Plan Selection:
- All plans include transaction fees
- Lower fees available on Core and Pro plans
- Calculate based on expected sales volume
- No limit on number of customers
How to Purchase:
- Open Digital Products panel
- Click Products
- Select "Select Plan"
- Choose billing cycle (monthly/annual)
- Select plan tier
- Enter payment details
- Confirm purchase
Plan Management:
- View plan details in Billing panel
- Access invoice history
- Manage automatic renewal
- Update payment method
- Cancel or change plans anytime
Important Notes:
- 15-day grace period for failed payments
- Plan expiration reverts to 9% transaction fee
- 30-minute video storage limit applies after expiration
- Resubscribe anytime to restore benefits
- Separate charges for website and Digital Products plans
- Annual billing offers lower monthly costs
