
Financial Transaction Management: Guide to Monitoring Payments and Refunds
Monitor and manage your financial transactions, including payments, refunds, and chargebacks through the Finances panel.
View Transactions
Access transaction details through either desktop or mobile:
Desktop:
- Open Finances panel to see chronological transaction list
- Click individual transactions for detailed information
- View payment details (amount, fees, card info)
- Filter by type (Paid, Failed, Refunds, Chargeback)
- Filter by date range
Mobile (Android/iOS):
- Open Sales panel
- Select Payments tab
- Filter by status (Pending, Paid, Failed, Refunds, Disputed)
- Tap transactions for details
Process Refunds
To issue a refund:
- Open Finances panel > Orders
- Select payment to refund
- Click Refund
- Enter refund amount
- Click Issue Refund
Important notes:
- Full or partial refunds available
- Transaction fees refunded
- Processing fees non-refundable
- Refunds deduct from daily payment balance
- Negative balances charged to bank account
Handle Chargebacks
When customers dispute charges:
- You'll receive email notification
- Disputed amount and fees are your responsibility
- Option to prove legitimate charges
- Follow provided steps to dispute chargebacks
Trial Orders
- Display as successful transactions during trial mode
- Show test badge
- Not visible when store goes live
- Used for testing purposes only
Note: Currently, payment/deposit data cannot be exported to .csv or .xls files.
