Understanding what you're charged for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and how billing works through Squarespace is essential for managing your business email effectively.
Pricing Options
Business Starter Plan:
- Annual: $72/user/year
- Monthly: $7.20/user/month
- Storage: 30 GB per user
- Video meetings: Up to 100 participants
Business Standard Plan:
- Annual: $144/user/year
- Monthly: $14.40/user/month
- Storage: 2 TB per user
- Video meetings: Up to 150 participants with recording
Business Plus Plan:
- Annual: $216/user/year
- Monthly: $21.60/user/month
- Storage: 5 TB per user
- Video meetings: Up to 500 participants with recording and tracking
All plans include Gmail business email, Google Calendar, Drive, and Docs.
Billing Management
Key Points:
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- Monthly plans: Charged on renewal date
- Annual plans: Charged 15 days before renewal
- Past due accounts have 15-day grace period
- Suspended accounts have 40 days to reactivate
Payment Issues:
- Update payment method in billing panel
- Click "Retry payment" or "Update payment info"
- Follow prompts to update card details
To Reactivate Suspended Account:
- Update payment method
- Go to Google Workspace panel
- Click Billing > Reactivate Account
- Confirm payment details
Important Notes:
- Pricing may be subject to local sales tax
- Prorated pricing applies when adding users mid-cycle
- Independent billing from Squarespace website/domain subscriptions
- Must maintain reseller and API access for Squarespace support
- Google Voice requires direct Google Workspace signup
