Accepting a Squarespace Collaborator Invitation

When someone invites you to collaborate on a Squarespace site, follow these steps to gain access:

Step 1: Open the Email Invitation

1. Look for an email with subject "Invitation from [host] to be a Collaborator"
2. Click "Accept invitation" in the email

Step 2: Log In or Sign Up

For Existing Squarespace Users:

• Enter your email and password
• Or sign in with Apple, Facebook, or Google
• Click "Continue with this email" to accept
• Complete two-step authentication if enabled

For New Users:

• Click "Create account"
• Choose your login method:
  • Email and password
  • Apple, Facebook, or Google account

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Already Have Permissions:

• Use incognito mode to accept invitation with different account

Email Not Found:

• Create new account if needed
• Double-check email address for typos
