Connect a domain while maintaining separate billing through these simple steps:

Eligibility Requirements:

• Domain must be parked (not attached to another site)
• Domain and website must be in the same Squarespace account
• Admin permissions required for both domain and website
• Cannot connect to specific pages (only full sites)

Connect Your Domain:

1. Navigate to Domains dashboard
2. Select your domain
3. Click Website
4. Choose "Connect an existing website"
5. Select target site
6. Click Next, then Confirm

Modify Domain Connection:

1. Open Domains dashboard
2. Click your domain
3. Select Website
4. Choose "Change connection"
5. Pick new site
6. Confirm changes

Remove Domain Connection:

1. Access Domains dashboard
2. Select domain
3. Click Website
4. Choose "Change connection"
5. Select "Park this domain"
6. Confirm removal

Important Notes:

• For subdomains: Squarespace treats them as third-party domains requiring DNS records
• When reconnecting after third-party service: Remove all external records first
• Domain managers need proper permissions for both domain and site access
• Cannot connect directly to individual pages (but can redirect)
