A sale price lets you offer products at a reduced cost while showing the original price for comparison. Here's how to set up and manage sale prices effectively:

Setting Basic Sale Prices

For products without variants:

  • Navigate to the product editor
  • Scroll to Inventory
  • Toggle "On Sale" switch

Creating Store-Wide Sales

To apply sales to multiple products:

  1. Open Products & Services menu
  2. Select Products
  3. Click Price field for target items
  4. Toggle "On Sale" switch
  5. Set new prices

Important Notes:

  • Digital items cannot have sale prices (use discount codes instead)
  • Subscription sale prices apply to all future payments
  • Create a sale category for easier customer browsing
  • Promote sales through email marketing campaigns

Alternative Options:

  • Use discount codes for digital items
  • Apply category-wide discounts (e.g., 10% off all tops)
  • Create limited-time subscription discounts

For maximum impact, combine sale prices with email marketing to notify customers about your promotions. Remember to save all changes before exiting the editor.
