Trackable links help measure visitor clicks and revenue from your advertising campaigns. Each unique URL is monitored individually in the Traffic Sources panel, allowing you to analyze campaign performance effectively.

To create trackable links using URL Generator:

  1. Navigate to Marketing panel > URL Generator
  2. Click "Create URL"
  3. Select destination page from dropdown
  4. Choose advertising platform
  5. Click Next
  6. Follow platform-specific instructions to implement

Supported Advertising Platforms:

  • Facebook Ads
  • Instagram Ads
  • Google Ads
  • Twitter Ads
  • Pinterest Ads
  • YouTube Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads

Note: Squarespace Email Marketing and Instagram Shopping campaigns are automatically tracked.

Compatible Pages:

  • Design pages
  • Collection pages
  • Blog pages
  • Store pages
  • Tags and categories within collection pages

Limitations:

  • Cannot link directly to individual products or blog posts (use tags instead)
  • Cannot link to pages within an index (link to main index only)

Track Performance: Monitor campaign results in the Traffic Sources panel, where you can view click data and compare campaign success rates.
