How to Find and Customize Your Squarespace RSS Feed URL
Find your RSS feed URL with our specific domain and page slug. Feed URLs contain latest content in XML format, used by news aggregators, feed readers, subscriptions, and podcast listings.
Basic RSS URL Structure:
- Built-in domain: sitename.squarespace.com/pageslug?format=rss
- Custom domain: www.yourdomain.com/pageslug?format=rss
Finding Your Domain:
- Use built-in Squarespace URL (recommended for reliability)
- Or use custom domain with "www." prefix
- Access either through the Domains panel
Finding Your Page Slug:
- Open Pages panel
- Hover over page title
- Click settings icon
- Locate URL Slug field
Adding Category/Tag Filters (Optional):
For Categories:
- Format: domain/pageslug?category=Categoryname&format=rss
- Multiple words: Use %20 between words Example: domain/pageslug?category=New%20Art&format=rss
For Tags:
- Format: domain/pageslug?tag=Tagname&format=rss
- Multiple words: Use %20 between words Example: domain/pageslug?tag=Happy%20cats&format=rss
Quick Tip: To find any page's RSS feed URL, visit the page while logged out and add ?format=rss to the end of the URL. Note that this may not work for content on index pages.
These RSS feeds can be used for:
- Email subscriptions
- Podcast listings
- Blog feed readers
- News aggregators
For best results, use the built-in domain as visitors typically don't see the RSS URL, and it ensures consistent content delivery even if domain changes occur.
