When your website's renewal payment fails, your site will be marked as "overdue." Here's what happens and what you can do:

Immediate Effects:

  • You'll receive an email notification
  • A banner will appear on your site (visible only when logged in)
  • Your site remains visible to visitors and search engines for 15 days

Timeline:

  • Day 1-15: Grace period with full site functionality
  • After Day 15: Site expires and becomes invisible to visitors if payment isn't processed

How to Resolve Payment Issues:

  1. Update Billing Information
  • Update your payment method immediately
  • System will automatically attempt to process the pending payment
  • You'll receive an invoice once successful
  1. Resend Payment
  • Access the "Billing" panel
  • Click "Try to make the payment again" under Subscriptions
  • Or use the "Resolve now" button on the banner when logged in
  1. Alternative Option: Cancel Subscription
  • Available if you no longer want to maintain the site
  • Note: Digital Products will be suspended for 30 days after cancellation
  • Other services (domains, Email Campaigns, etc.) can still be managed separately

Important Notes:

  • No deadline extensions available beyond the 15-day grace period
  • Subscription cannot be temporarily paused
  • Plan changes not possible while payment is pending
  • Must resolve payment first to make any subscription modifications

If payment continues to fail, your site will expire after the grace period, but you can reactivate it once payment issues are resolved.
