SEPA payments allow direct bank transfers for Squarespace subscriptions within the Single Euro Payments Area. This payment method serves as an alternative to credit and debit cards for European customers.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must reside in a SEPA member country
  • Need a bank account in any SEPA member country
  • Currency must be in Euros (€ EUR)
  • Bank account must support SEPA direct debits

Eligible Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Setting Up SEPA Payment:

  1. Select "SEPA Direct Debit" during checkout
  2. Enter account holder's name and IBAN
  3. Provide billing address and VAT information
  4. Confirm payment method
  5. Complete purchase

Important Payment Details:

  • SEPA payments may take up to 5 days to settle
  • VAT may be collected with subscription payment
  • Cannot change payment plan during processing or 15 days before renewal

Managing SEPA Payment Information:

  1. Access Payment Information panel
  2. Click current SEPA details
  3. Enter new information
  4. Save changes

Domain-Specific Updates: For domains not associated with your site, access the Domain Dashboard and select Billing to update SEPA details.

Alternative Payment Methods: You can switch from SEPA to credit/debit cards or PayPal by updating your billing information.
