Activity log analysis shows visitor interactions with your website over the past 7 days. It provides detailed information about each page visit, helping you understand your site's traffic patterns and visitor behavior.

Key Information Tracked:

  • Date and time of visits
  • Visitor IP addresses and geographic locations
  • Traffic sources (referral URLs)
  • Browser versions and operating systems
  • Page titles and URLs accessed

Main Features:

  • Displays 50 most recent entries (expandable)
  • Searchable by IP address, visited page, or source
  • Shows approximate visitor locations based on IP
  • Updates entries every 7 days
  • Tracks both custom domain and regular site visits

Important Limitations:

  • Only shows data from the previous 7 days
  • Browser privacy settings may limit available information
  • Cannot block specific IP addresses
  • Tracks visitor activity only (not login/edit actions)
  • Retains old page titles for 7 days after changes

Accessing the Activity Log:

  1. Navigate to Analytics panel
  2. Click on Engagement
  3. Select Activity Log
  4. Browse entries or use search function
  5. Click individual entries for detailed information

Privacy Considerations:

  • Can be disabled through Cookies and Visitor Data panel
  • Disabling removes all existing log data
  • Consider local data protection laws
  • Re-enable anytime to resume tracking
  • Provides cookie consent options

The activity log helps identify unusual traffic patterns, analyze geographic visitor distribution, and understand how users navigate your site, making it a valuable tool for website analytics and visitor tracking.
