Identifying Your Reseller Domain

To check if your domain is registered through a reseller:

1. Open your domain panel
2. Click the domain name
3. Look below the expiration date for the reseller's name

Domain Management Responsibilities

Google Workspace handles:

• Cancellations
• Automatic renewal settings
• Refunds
• Payment information updates

Squarespace handles:

• DNS record management
• URL redirects
• Domain contact information
• Name server settings
• Whois privacy
• Domain suspension issues

First-Time Squarespace Login

1. Log out of any existing Squarespace accounts
2. Visit squarespace.com/login
3. Click "Continue with Google"
4. Select your Google Workspace account
5. Follow the login prompts

Important Domain Management Notes:

• Domain verification is required within 15 days of registration to prevent suspension
• You can connect your domain to a Squarespace site, but billing remains separate
• Domain transfers to Squarespace are not possible for reseller domains

Key Information:

• Canceling Google Workspace doesn't automatically cancel your domain
• Domains must be canceled separately through Google Workspace
• Domain billing continues through Google Workspace even after cancellation
• All other domain settings remain manageable through Squarespace
• New domains less than 5 days old may be eligible for cancellation and re-registration through Squarespace directly
