The Squarespace Forum is a community platform where users and developers collaborate, share solutions, and discuss Squarespace customization. You don't need a website subscription to participate.

Signing Up and Profile Setup

Use your existing Squarespace credentials or create a new account through the Sign Up/Log In button. Choose a display name (3-26 characters, using letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores).

Customize your profile by:

  • Adding personal information and website details
  • Uploading a profile picture
  • Setting a cover photo
  • Creating a signature (max 3 lines, 2 colors, 150x150px image)

Account Management

Access account settings to:

  • Update display name (once per 7 days)
  • Monitor login devices
  • Adjust content view preferences
  • Manage notification settings
  • Create a signature

Using the Forum

Search for content using the search bar and advanced filters to find specific topics, authors, or tags.

To create a new topic:

  1. Select relevant Forum category
  2. Click "New Post" or "Ask a Question"
  3. Add clear title and up to 5 relevant tags
  4. Write your content
  5. Toggle "Follow Topic" for notifications
  6. Click "Submit Question"

Participating in Discussions

  • Use quotes to reference specific statements
  • Mention users with @ symbol
  • Mark helpful responses as "Suggested"
  • Report inappropriate content through the three-dot menu

Build reputation by receiving positive reactions (Haha, Thanks, Love) from other users. High-ranking members appear on the Forum Leaderboard.

For account-specific issues like billing or domains, contact Squarespace Customer Support instead of using the Forum.

Contact the Community team for Forum-specific technical support.
