Creating Your Account

Use your existing Squarespace credentials or create a new account through the Sign Up/Login button. Forum signup doesn't initiate a website subscription or trial.

Your display name must:

• Be 3-26 characters long
• Use letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores
• Avoid spaces and special characters

Building Your Profile

Create a public profile by:

1. Logging into the Forum
2. Clicking your display name
3. Selecting Profile
4. Adding personal details and photos

Account Settings allow you to:

• Update display name (once every 7 days)
• Monitor device access
• Customize content viewing preferences
• Create a signature
• Manage notifications

Forum Participation

To create a new topic:

1. Select relevant category
2. Click New Post/Ask a Question
3. Add title and tags
4. Write content
5. Click Submit Question

Writing effective titles:

• Include the action you're attempting
• State your goal
• Mention relevant Squarespace features

Using tags:

• Add 1-5 relevant keywords
• Choose specific, non-repetitive tags
• Prefer tags marked as Recommended

Engaging with Content

Respond to topics by:

• Using quotes to reference specific points
• Mentioning users with @ symbol
• Marking helpful responses as Recommended

Forum Features

Search functionality:

• Use the search bar
• Access Advanced Search for detailed filters
• Filter by author, content type, and tags

Reputation system:

• Earn points through positive reactions
• Appear on Forum Leaderboard
• React with Haha, Thanks, or Loved It

Report inappropriate content by clicking the three dots menu and selecting Report.
