Managing Your Account Dashboard
Your account dashboard serves as a central hub for managing all your websites, domains, and subscriptions. Access it at account.squarespace.com or through your profile picture in the main menu when signed into a website.
Website Management
The dashboard displays preview images of your websites' homepages, which update automatically every 48 hours. Each website listing shows:
- Homepage preview
- Website title
- Primary domain
- Number of additional custom domains
- Subscription renewal date
- Status indicators (orange circle for sites expiring in 3 days, red for expired sites)
Access website features through these options:
- Website button: Main access
- Go to Website: Direct site access
- Sell: Products & services
- Domains: Domain management
- Permissions: Access controls
- Payment: Billing information
- Settings: Site configuration
Other Subscriptions
View and manage additional subscriptions like domains and Acuity Scheduling from the dashboard tab. Create new websites by clicking "Create Website" to start a 14-day free trial.
Managing Access
Remove a website from your dashboard by:
- Removing yourself as an editor (maintains site but removes access)
- Deleting the site (permanent for trial or expired websites)
To delete a site:
- Search for the website
- Click the menu (...)
- Select Delete and confirm
Domain Management
Access the Domain Dashboard through the Domains tab to manage:
- Custom Squarespace domains
- Connected third-party domains
Account Security
Manage your account security through Account Settings:
- Update profile information
- Change email and password
- Enable two-factor authentication
- Review account activities
- Manage connected apps
- Monitor login history
- Force logout on devices
The system tracks:
- Browser information
- IP addresses
- Login times and locations
- Active sessions
For security, you can force logout of any device and manage connected mobile apps through the Account Settings menu.
