Quick view, image zoom, and hover effects enhance the shopping experience on Squarespace store pages. Here's what you need to know about these features and how to implement them.

Image Zoom

Image zoom lets customers see product details up close. It's available on product detail pages and quick view lightboxes.

To enable image zoom in Version 7.1:

• Click [Edit] on the product detail page
• Click the pencil icon
• Select [Zoom] from the [Hover Action] dropdown menu

To enable image zoom in Version 7.0:

• Go to [Website] > [Design] > [Site Styles]
• Find [Product: Image Zoom] section
• Check [Enable Image Zoom]
• Adjust zoom rate (1-5)
• Choose zoom trigger (Click or Hover)

Note: Image zoom isn't available on mobile devices.

Quick View

Quick view displays product details in a lightbox without leaving the current page. It's available on:

• Summary Blocks
• Product Blocks
• Store Pages

To enable quick view:

For Product Blocks:

• Open product block editor
• Select product
• Toggle on [Product Quick View] in [Design] tab

For Summary Blocks:

• Select store page in [Content] tab
• Toggle on [Enable Product Quick View] in [Design] tab

For Store Pages:

• Open page settings
• Go to [Advanced Settings] > [Quick View]
• Toggle on [Enable Quick View]

Hover Effects

Different hover effects are available depending on your site version:

Version 7.1:

• Displays alternative product images on hover

Version 7.0 (Brine, Farro, Skye, Tremont, York templates):

• Alternative Image
• Fade
• Product Information Overlay

Other templates have unique hover effects:

• Galapagos: Alternative image and product information overlay
• Supply: Product information overlay
• Other templates: Product name and price overlay

Remember that some features may have limitations on mobile devices and specific templates.
