Squarespace Commerce allows merchants to sell globally with specific currency and country restrictions based on their payment processor. Here's what you need to know:
Payment Processor Availability
- Squarespace Payments follows Stripe's global availability
- Stripe offers three levels of country support: Live, Open Preview, and Closed Preview
- PayPal is available in numerous countries (check PayPal's global page for current list)
- Merchants must have a bank account in a supported country
Supported Currencies
Squarespace supports 27 currencies, including:
- USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD
- JPY, HKD, SGD, NZD
- Many other regional currencies
Important Currency Rules:
- Stores can only use one currency at a time
- Currency availability depends on your bank account location
- Some currencies have restrictions (ARS, COP, IDR, ZAR only available with Stripe)
- PayPal doesn't support certain currencies (ARS, COP, INR, IDR, ZAR)

Currency Management
