Setting a New Homepage

  1. Hover over the desired page title in the Pages panel
  2. Click the settings icon (•••)
  3. Scroll to "Set as Homepage" and click
  4. Click Confirm
  5. Save changes

The house icon will move to your new homepage, while the previous homepage remains in place without the icon.

After Setting Homepage

  • Consider deleting or renaming the previous homepage
  • Move new homepage to top of navigation menu for easy access
  • Optionally hide homepage from navigation by moving it to Hidden Navigation section

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you see "Page Not Found / Error 404", check:

  • URL accuracy
  • Page status (enabled/disabled)
  • Template preview status (version 7.0)

Important Notes:

  • Homepage cannot be a page within an index (version 7.0)
  • Disabled homepages appear in light gray
  • Custom 404 pages will show your personalized error message

To fix a disabled homepage:

  1. Set another page as temporary homepage
  2. Enable the original homepage
  3. Reset original page as homepage

For template-related issues:

  • Activate preview template or restore deleted homepage
  • Ensure proper template installation with homepage setting
