Acuity Scheduling: Complete Guide to Pricing, Plans, and Billing Management
Acuity Scheduling is a subscription-based scheduling service that can be used independently or integrated with Squarespace websites. Your Acuity subscription remains separate from your site subscription and continues even if your site subscription expires.
Pricing and Plans
Acuity offers three different plans with varying features. Additional costs may include:
- Payment processor fees from third-party payment services
- Text message fees (standard rates apply for clients only)
State and local sales taxes may apply depending on your location.
Free Trial
New users start with a free trial equivalent to the Emerging plan. After the trial ends:
- All data remains saved
- No charges until you choose a paid plan
- Client booking requires an active paid subscription
Subscribing to Acuity
Via Squarespace website:
- Click Scheduling in Home Menu
- Follow upgrade prompts
- Select Monthly or Annual billing
- Choose your plan
- Confirm payment
For standalone Acuity:
- Visit the signup page
- Click "Try Scheduling"
- Only site owners and admin collaborators can purchase subscriptions
Managing Your Subscription
Access the Billing panel to view:
- Current plan details
- Activation date
- Billing cycle
- Renewal date
- Auto-renewal status
View detailed invoices including payment dates, amounts, and any prorated charges or refunds.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew by default to prevent service interruption:
- Annual subscribers receive a 15-day renewal reminder
- No action needed if payment card is valid
- Can disable auto-renewal through Billing panel
Payment Issues
If payment fails:
- 15-day grace period for payment
- Multiple charge attempts during grace period
- Update card anytime during grace period
- Service expires after 15 days if payment unsuccessful

- High-volume appointment processing
- Special compliance requirements
- Multiple account management

- More than 36 calendars
