Domain contact information serves as your domain's official registration data. Keeping this information accurate and up-to-date is crucial for domain ownership verification and important notifications.

Key Reasons for Accurate Contact Information:

  • Receive important domain notifications
  • Verify domain ownership
  • Required for domain transfers
  • Annual verification emails are sent from [email protected]

WHOIS Privacy Protection:

  • Automatically enabled for most domains
  • Some country-code domains (ccTLDs) don't allow WHOIS privacy
  • Can be manually disabled if needed

Contact Roles:

  • Owner: Primary contact and official registrant
  • Admin: Secondary contact for most emails
  • Technical: Backup contact for important notices
  • Billing: Secondary backup for important notices

Formatting Requirements:

  • Names must have at least 4 characters
  • Phone numbers: Enter without dashes or country codes
  • Address: Use Address 1 for main address, Address 2 for additional details
  • Organization name needs minimum 4 characters (3 non-numeric)

  • Verification emails sent to both old and new addresses
  • Must be completed within 15 days to avoid suspension
  • Can resend verification emails through dashboard
