A valid email address is required to use Squarespace. Here's how to change your account email address while logged in.

Before Changing Your Email

• This will affect login access for all sites linked to your account
• You must verify the new email address
• Your Circle membership login details will also update if applicable

Important Notes:

• Don't use custom domain emails (like Google Workspace) as your account email
• You can't use an email already associated with another Squarespace account
• Forms must be manually updated to send to your new email address

Steps to Change Your Email

1. Access Account and Security settings
2. Click "Change email address"
3. Enter your current account password
4. Enter your new email address twice
5. Click Save
6. Check your new email for a verification link from [email protected]

Additional Considerations

• To transfer site ownership, follow the site ownership change process
• If you can't log in, use account recovery options
• To use an email linked to another account, add it as a collaborator instead
• Delete unused accounts to free up email addresses
