Customer reviews build trust and can increase sales. They can be collected for physical products, downloads, services, and subscription products, but not for gift cards.

After enabling reviews, customers receive an automated email 14 days post-purchase. They can leave a written review (up to 1500 characters) and a 1-5 star rating for each item. Customers have 120 days to submit their review.

  • Product Reviews Only: Shows reviews for specific products
  • Store Reviews Only: Displays all store reviews with product details
  • Product and Store Reviews: Separates reviews into tabs

Important Notes:

  • Reviews cannot be requested for orders older than 14 days
  • Customers can only review each product once

Review Limitations:

  • No customer editing or deletion of reviews
  • No direct response capability for merchants
  • Reviews are automatically deleted if customer contact is removed
  • Cannot leave reviews for canceled orders
  • 120-day time limit for review submission

Review requests won't be sent for:

  • Point of Sale purchases
  • Gift card purchases
  • Subscription renewal orders
  • Orders older than 14 days before feature activation
