Customer reviews automatically collect feedback for physical, downloadable, and service products, helping build trust and increase sales. Customers receive a review request email 14 days after order completion, allowing them to rate products from 1-5 stars and leave comments up to 1500 characters.

Email Customization Steps:
- Open automation panel
- Select "Request customer reviews"
- Click "Action" then "Edit email"
- Customize content, subject, and preview text
- Send test email to verify appearance
Review Display Options:
- Product reviews only: Shows individual product ratings
- Store reviews only: Displays all store reviews with product images
- Product and store reviews: Separated into tabs when both exist

Customer reviews on Squarespace
Managing Reviews:
- View all reviews in Customer Reviews panel
- Toggle visibility between Public and Hidden
- Cannot delete reviews, only hide them
- Reviews remain after product edits or name changes
- Customer reviews are permanent and cannot be edited by customers
Important Notes:
- Reviews unavailable for orders older than 14 days before enabling
- Cannot export or transfer reviews between sites
- Review requests still sent for out-of-stock items
- Customers can only review each product once
- 120-day limit for leaving reviews
- Cannot reply directly to reviews
Troubleshooting:
- Ensure product is visible in store
- Verify order wasn't canceled
- Check if customer is within 120-day window
- Confirm it's not a subscription renewal order
- Validate product hasn't been deleted
