An RSS feed is an XML file containing your latest website content, used by news aggregators, feed readers, email subscriptions, and podcast listings. Squarespace automatically creates RSS feeds for all blog, product, event, gallery, and album pages.

RSS Feed URL Structure

Your RSS feed URL consists of three parts:

  • Your website domain
  • The page slug
  • The format parameter (?format=rss)

For integrated domains:

sitename.squarespace.com/page-slug?format=rss

For custom domains:

www.yourdomain.com/page-slug?format=rss

Finding Your Domain

  1. Access the Domains menu in your Squarespace dashboard
  2. For integrated domains, use the URL shown under "Integrated Domain"
  3. For custom domains, use your full domain name (including www.)

Filtering RSS Feeds

Add categories or tags to filter content:

For categories:

domain.com/page-slug?category=CategoryName&format=rss

For multi-word categories:

domain.com/page-slug?category=Category%20Name&format=rss

For tags:

domain.com/page-slug?tag=TagName&format=rss

For multi-word tags:

domain.com/page-slug?tag=Tag%20Name&format=rss

Use your RSS feed URL to create email subscriptions, podcast listings, and integrations with blog feed readers and news aggregators.
