
Find and Create the Perfect RSS Feed URL for Your Site
An RSS feed is an XML file containing your latest website content, used by news aggregators, feed readers, email subscriptions, and podcast listings. Squarespace automatically creates RSS feeds for all blog, product, event, gallery, and album pages.
RSS Feed URL Structure
Your RSS feed URL consists of three parts:
- Your website domain
- The page slug
- The format parameter (?format=rss)
For integrated domains:
sitename.squarespace.com/page-slug?format=rss
For custom domains:
www.yourdomain.com/page-slug?format=rss
Finding Your Domain
- Access the Domains menu in your Squarespace dashboard
- For integrated domains, use the URL shown under "Integrated Domain"
- For custom domains, use your full domain name (including www.)

Finding Your Page Slug
- Open the Pages menu
- Hover over the desired page
- Click the gear icon to access page settings
- Find your slug in the "URL slug" field

Filtering RSS Feeds
Add categories or tags to filter content:
For categories:
domain.com/page-slug?category=CategoryName&format=rss
For multi-word categories:
domain.com/page-slug?category=Category%20Name&format=rss
For tags:
domain.com/page-slug?tag=TagName&format=rss
For multi-word tags:
domain.com/page-slug?tag=Tag%20Name&format=rss
