Connect Crazy Domains to Squarespace in 6 Simple Steps

Connect your Crazy Domains domain to Squarespace using either Nameserver Connect or DNS Connect. Follow these steps for a successful connection.

Step 1: Initialize Connection in Squarespace

1. Open Domains menu
2. Click Use External Domain
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click Connect Domain
5. Select Other from dropdown
6. Click Connect Domain again
7. Click Next in the message
8. Keep the DNS settings menu open for reference

Step 2: Access Crazy Domains

1. Visit www.crazydomains.com
2. Sign in to your account
3. Click Visit My Account
4. Select Domains tab
5. Click on your domain
6. Scroll to DNS Settings

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: [unique code from Squarespace]
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: verify.squarespace.com

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: www
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: ext-cust.squarespace.com

Step 5: Add Four A Records Create these A records with @ as host:

• 198.185.159.144
• 198.185.159.145
• 198.49.23.144
• 198.49.23.145

Step 6: Wait for Connection

• Allow 24-72 hours for full propagation
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
• Check for green labels indicating successful connection
• Domain will show as "Connected" when complete
